It’s Fave Friday time! Here’s what I’m diggin’ this week.
Outlet Shopping – They reopened the outlet mall here in Nebraska just before Christmas. I don’t know about you, but I’m not shopping at an outdoor mall in the winter. I don’t do much in-store shopping in the winter period. Now that the weather is great my sister and I ventured out there this past weekend. So many great buys! Here is a Kenneth Cole crossover I picked up for under $20 at Wilsons Leather. I love this color. It is $39.99 on the Wilsons website, but that’s still better than $80.
Points-Worthy Purchase – I’m loving this volumizing shampoo from Fleur de Temps that arrived in my May Birchbox. It’s gone already. It smells so good, has amazing lather and leaves my hair soft and full of body. Love it. And now that I purchased the limited edition men’s Glossybox for my husband that is full of cologne samples, I can use my Birchbox points for me. (P.S. Cynthia Rowley Silver Eyeliner – also in the May Birchbox was a Cynthia Rowley eyeliner in silver. This was a fun one to try. It had a lot more sparkle than I had anticipated. I will definitely use it. It goes on smooth and it easy to smudge. I left it untouched here.
Julep Bare Face Cleansing Oil – I love Tarte Cosmetics Lights, Camera, Flashes Statement Mascara. It’s a must-buy. But, it is painstakingly hard to remove. Even after washing your face in the evening, you can still plan on stepping out of the shower the next morning looking like the Joker.
Earlier this week I saw someone recommend coconut oil as an eye makeup remover. While I do a lot of cooking with coconut oil, I’m not putting it on my face. Then I remembered I had some of Julep’s oil cleanser from a past Maven box. Works like a charm!
