We have been looking forward to February as this month Birchbox is collaborating with Us Weekly editor Gwen Flamberg. The theme for February is “Step and Repeat” and the featured products are all about getting red-carpet ready.
As I have watched some of the February reviews roll out I’ve done a lot of wishing. Please don’t send me that. Please do not let my box include any more of those. When I opened my Birchbox, this is what I found:
- 100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Mascara – This is an all-natural mascara and is ideal for sensitive skin.
- Agave Healing Oil Treatment – This product smooths unmanageable, frizzy hair. I wouldn’t go that far in describing mine, but I’ll hold onto this until the summer heat rolls around.
- Coola Tinted Matte SPF 30 BB Cream – I was hoping for some more BB or CC cream soon. Score on this one!
- DDF Ultra-Lite Oil-Free Moisturizing Dew – DDF makes some great products. This is a fast-absorbing moisturizer perfect for my oily skin.
- Harvey Prince Hello – This smells really good. Flowery. Reminds me of Spring, which I hope will be here soon. 😉
Good job, Birchbox! I’m a very happy subscriber this month. I’ll definitely get my $10 investment back in fun this month. What do you think?
I’ve heard of the birchbox… is it worth it each month.. do you find yourself using it all or storing it away.. I just wonder if I should go for it…
I almost always use everything that comes in my Birchbox. There is a nice variety of makeup, skincare and hair care in this one. And they have an excellent points system that you can use to purchase free full-size products. We use that a lot!
I love the red-carpet theme for this month’s box! #SITSBlogging
You got a pretty good box this month! I liked most of the items in my box, but my favorite was the Beauty Protector oil. I already fell in love the the leave in conditioner they sent and this just solidifies my love for Beauty Protector!
Oh, yes! I got that through the Birchblogger program and loved it. Smells so good.
Looks like you got a really good deal with February’s Birchbox, Angie. I’ve done Wantable before, but for the accessories. If they generally send products that fit your preferences, it’s a good deal. #SITSBlogging
I get Wantable Intimates and I love it!
I’ve always been curious about Birchbox. From the looks of this box, it’s decent!

Some months are better than others. One thing I can say is there is a ton of variety. Rarely do I see two reviews of the same box.
seriusly this is such an amazing blog! You give real and honest reviews. I only get Julep right now for a box, but I’m totally curious about all the other ones. Thanks so much

Hang around! I get some good ones. 😉
Looks like a fun box! I just recently heard about these sample boxes but I’m so intrigued – they come in lots of different niches from cooking to coffee to beauty! Thanks for your review.
For sure, Nicole. There is something for everyone!
