From the Lab recently offered to send me a box to review. I’m glad they did. This is a new subscription that I was interested in, but I still had quite a few questions about the program. My shipment arrived today. Let’s take a look.
What is From the Lab?
From the Lab is probably a bit (a lot) different than any of your current beauty box subscriptions. This one specializes in private label, before-they-hit-the-market beauty products. These products are not tested on animals nor do they contain any animal products. They are paraben-free and made from natural and synthetic ingredients intended to work well with any skin type.
For $29.95 per month you will receive a 30-day supply of 1-3 products from independent labs around the world. All products meet European and U.S. cosmetic standards. Shipments may include skin care, hair care or cosmetics. My From the Lab shipment included:
- No. 578 24-Hour Face Cream
- No. 579 Eye Cream
This month’s products focus on combating free radicals, heavy metals and premature aging. So far I’m loving the products. They go on smooth and the face cream is not too oily. (It also smells really good.) What I’m enjoying most about my package is the reading material! It contains not only a ton of information about the product and how to use it, but also about what the main ingredients do and why you need them.
If you like the products, you can purchase additional supplies while they last. They may also be able to reorder in some cases, though there may be a wait. If you don’t like the products shipped, they do offer a money-back guarantee.
If you are interested in learning more about taking proper care of your skin and using safe, more natural ingredients, I think you are going to love From the Lab. I have to admit that I haven’t been too cognizant about what I put on face and body in the past. I don’t spend a lot of time reading about what specific ingredients do. This shipment left me a lot more informed and interested in learning more.
Visit From the Lab to learn more about the service. There is currently a short waitlist so you will need to request an invite.
Disclosure: I received this product for review purposes. All opinions are my own.
