Taste Guru’s co-founder was tired of eating gluten-free products that tasted like “week-old-cardboard” after being diagnosed with celiac disease. As a result, he and his wife set out on a mission to discover tasty gluten-free items from around the globe. You too can discover these great finds through their box of month club, Taste Guru.
Taste Guru subscriptions start at just $25 per month and include samples of a variety of gluten-free foods. In last month’s box subscribers found:
- CookSimple Cowboy Chili
- Two Fat Guys BBQ Sauce
- Sugar & Spice Cookie Mix
- Boulder Granola
- KIND Granola
- Pamela’s Whenever Bars
- Crunchmaster Grammy Crisps
- Canyon Oats Oatmeal Cups
- Cheribundi Cherry Lemonade
I haven’t had a chance to try this one for myself yet, but the reviews are overall good. I think we are starting to see a big divide in subscription camps. There are those sticking with the traditional discovery program and those gravitating towards the “bargain box” model where value is the priority over introducing consumers to new brands. I’m currently finding myself in Camp #1. I prefer trying new products and meeting new companies over receiving $200 in nail polish for $20 month after month. Not that I don’t love nail polish! I do. I like a good surprise though.
Right now Taste Guru is running a promotion; buy 3 months and get the fourth month free.
